On January 7th, the St.Charles eighth grade boys’ and girls’ basketball teams competed at the Barclays Center. The first teams to compete were the St.Charles eighth grade boys’ B gold against the St.Charles boys’ B blue. The second game was St.Charles girls’ A versus St. Teressa’s girls’ A. The last teams to compete were the St. Charles boys’ A against St. Clare’s  boys’ A. The winners were the St.Charles boys’ blue for the B team, St. Teresa”s girls’ A, and St.Clare A team. The games started at 12:00 and ended at 2:30. After playing they watched a professional game of the Nets against Thunder, where Thunder won by 8 points.
