James the Great

James Woods plays basketball. He plays for the 5th-grade B-team. He is a shooting guard. James gets a lot of rebounds and steals. He has made one shot this season.

James thinks a complete basketball player is someone who plays great defense, concentrates,  and gets himself known for what he does on the court. He said to get a good steal you have to try and force the player you’re guarding toward the sidelines.

This year James has a new coach. His team is practicing very hard. He feels very good about this season. His team’s record is 7-2. Now let’s hear a word from James “ I think that my team is practicing very hard and I think my team will make it to the semifinals.”

      Every player on a team is important to the team’s success. James is an example of a Team Player who works hard all the time .
