6th grade A boys get their first win of the season

St. Charles’ 6th grade A boys’ team got its first win against St. Adalberts, with the final score of 22-19 on December 3rd. This team had an 0-6 record entering this game, and now they have their first win.
The leading scorers for the game were John Driscoll and Anthony Carrubba, who contributed 6 points each. Also, Frank Langello made the only three-pointer for his team, and Timmy Colacci took the only foul shots of the game for his team, making one. Speaking of Driscoll, he made a crucial floater in the lane that made the opposing team need a 3 to tie. St. Adalbert’s attempted a last shot that missed the mark, which finished the game with SCS leading 22-19.
Matt Hevaghan had a strong rebounding game for SCS.
Though a close game, the sixth grade Chargers showed their division that they are still working hard to get wins.
