New Coach Charlie Ferrara

Charlie Ferrara takes on new coaching job for St .Charles 6th grade boys

           Charlie Ferrara is the new grade 6 basketball coach. This team was not the best team last year. Will the new coach make a difference? Some kids say this is a very fun coach. Richard Hopes said,  “The team has to go in with a good mind set .” Joe Mignano said, “ I think we will win this year because of the new coaching. Charlie is a very good basketball player. He made it to college basketball and played quite well.”

           Although the team lost their first game they did not get down.  They practiced hard and tried again. Joe Napoli and Gaetano Firriolo excelled in this game.   Gaetano scored the most points and Joe got the most rebounds. 

      The boys are learning about teamwork and being part of a team and this reporter wishes them luck .
