New Year New Captains

  St.Charles Debs Cheer Team welcomes new captains to lead them along the way

      This year St.Charles Debs are starting fresh. As a team who always works together for the best, we wanted to come back strong with good leaders by our side other than our amazing coaches Jennifer Grosseto, Nicole Allocca, and Samantha Allocca. This year’s captain celebration was a lot different then our past ones. My team all sat down in a circle. We all got envelopes that had one word on it, and that word described us. Me and Sophia Fassino received a yellow note card that said: CONGRATULATIONS CAPTAINS AMY AND SOPHIA!!!!! Also, Giovanna Nigro and Bria Mercodo recieved a yellow note card too and theirs said: CONGRATULATIONS CO-CAPTAINS BRIA AND GIO!!!!! Personally, my experience was pretty awesome. I asked Sophia how it felt to become a leader that the team will look up to. She responded, “ I felt really excited. I didn’t know what to expect honestly.” I also asked Bria if she had anything special she wanted to do for the team this year. She responded, “ Maybe we can all sit down, at the end of the year, and talk about how much closer all of us became through the year and remember all of those fun memories we shared together.”
