Playoff Anticipation

This season has been so exciting, and it was an experience I will remember forever. I play on the 6th grade girls B team and it’s my first year, and I will most definitely be playing next year. I started the season thinking it would be like any other sport but by now (the end of the season). I wouldn’t give it up for the world. Right now we are in the semi finals of the playoffs. We won our first playoff game but it didn’t come easy!

    We kept the lead for the whole game but it did come close. There were a few seconds left on the clock as the people on the bench tightly clenched their hands together in anxiousness. The loud blare of the buzzer screeched as we all jumped up in excitement. WE WON! Those words came as a shock to me at first, but I was soon overcome with emotions that I couldn’t contain. My team rejoiced in happiness and began shaking the opposing team's hands.

    Our next playoff game is on Friday the 28th. We are filled with anticipation but we are ready to conquer anything as a TEAM.
