SCS Track for the Win!

     This weekend two St Charles relay teams were invited to the SI High School Championships to show their talent off in front of the high school teams and coaches.  This indoor meet was at the Ocean Breeze athletic center. This was their third year invited to this meet. It was a 4x200 relay race. OLSS, St.Clare, and NDA were also at the meet. 

     Both teams ran amazing races and came home with first place medals around their necks. The girls who competed in this meet were Raeanna Driscoll, Annalisa Sabatino, Anya Seattaglia, and Sahar Vitale. The boys were Patrick Parson,William Parson,James Adamo, and Matthew Mirfield. 

     Raeanna Driscoll, who is also very busy being a Varsity cheerleader, has been running track for 7 years.  I was able to speak to Raeanna about this race. Now here’s a word from Raeanna, “I was excited to run because I was running against 7th and 8th graders. I like to run against older kids because I like the competition.”  

    It certainly was a great day for our SCS Track Program. Congratulations to them all !
