St. Charles Chargers  Finish Strong!!!

At this year’s  Cross Country Championship Meet, our athletes represented our school proudly .  All of the runners did an amazing job pushing  themselves through the hills and across the finish line .  

Michael Calafiore was crowned champion in the 7th/8th grade boy’s division with a time of 9:07.5. Matthew Seta was the second finisher from St Charles finishing in 13th place with a time 10:31.7. In the girls 7th/8th  grade division , Sahar Victoria Vitale set a new course record with a time of 9:34.6. As a 5th grader , this was an amazing run !

In the 5th/6th grade boys division , James Adamo came in 1st with a time of 5:56.9.  Marcello Signorasti   came in 25th with a time of 8:25.3. The 3rd and 4th grade boys  were led by Adam Vitale, taking second place with a time of 2:41.7.  Joseph Calabrese was right behind Adam , taking 3rd place  with a time of 2:45.8.  Charles Costanzo took 1st place in the boys 2nd grade division and Abigail Robisky crossed the finish line first  in the 1st grade girls division.

Team 1st place awards were given to our 5th/6th grade boys , 3rd/4th grade boys, and our 1st/2nd grade girls.

***correction from Last week’s  article about the meet on 10/21 .  Alice Adamo came in 12th place . I had spelled her name incorrectly.
