“The Point”

Last weekend the sixth grade girls basketball team won  their game by one point!

The sixth grade  girls worked very hard at all their practices and it showed off at their first basketball game of the season. They won the game by a single point. The score of the game was 31-30. They played an amazing game against Blessed Sacrament. It was a very close game and all the girls on the court and the bench were very nervous. Katelyn Bauer, who is an amazing  point guard, and led the team to victory stated, “I was happy when we won because it was a close game, I was excited and proud for my team because it was our first game of the season and we did great together”. Brianna Azzarello, one of the outstanding guards stated, “I felt very happy because our team pulled it together and did our best.” Overall the girls did great at their first game.
