CYO Basketball: The Switch

          When Antonia Polito started playing basketball, she played for Saint Charles. There were 9 girls on Antonia’s  team. During games her team worked together to win. But if they did lose, it was no biggy. During her practices she played games like knockout.  If she missed, she didn't worry, she kept trying till she made it.

  But a few years later, she made a switch. She went to Saint Patricks. She switched teams because there were too many 6th graders on the team, so she had no choice but to move teams.  Another reason was Antonia was on the 6th grade team, meanwhile she was only in the 5th grade.

        Now on Saint Patrickd, she is playing with other 5th graders. The coaches are  nice and they let them play games at the end of practices. They get to scrimmage at the end of some practices for 30 minutes or so. They also get water breaks every 10 minutes. Antonia says she is happy on Saint Patricks basketball and happy at St Charles School!
