Winning is the Way

   This season, the  8th grade B boys team is  fighting for their division title . This group of boys are 5-0 with over 200 points scored, averaging over 40 points a game. Only six boys play for the team and their method to success is working hard. 

Four boys; William Conroy, Aiden Lihari, Brian Lihari and Matt Azzarello, say they are  working hard to win games. Conroy said, ‘’We feel good’’ and Brian said, ‘’We are outside shooters.”  The boys said,  ‘’We pass the ball well’’. 

Brian Lihari tackles the position of point guard, while William Conroy defends the paint by playing center. Azzarello goes outside and plays shooting guard.  Aiden Lihari rocks the position of small forward. 

 Along with practicing hard together, these boys also have their superstitions to win games. Brian uses his lucky Bugs Bunny socks and Aiden wears his precious Spongebob sneakers  to win games as well. Azzarello wears his one lucky sock to protect the court. 

With a majorty of games to come, if the boys keep it up they will go far this season. They are looking forward to another championship to end their senior season!
